About Artist:
Mehyar Mehr Azar is a television presenter and voice-over artist in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Born on the 6th of Azar, 1353, he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in communication sciences. He is most recognized for his roles as a news anchor and television host on programs such as "Nim Rooz," "Aftab-e Sharqi," and "Sima-ye Khanevadeh." In addition to his broadcasting career, Mehyar is also skilled in other arts, including singing and calligraphy, with a particular focus on Persian calligraphy. Over the years, he has held numerous exhibitions in Iran, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. One of his notable exhibitions, titled "Jan-e-Sama," featured 12 artworks inspired by the poetry of Rumi, created using acrylic and gouache techniques on cardboard and canvas. This collection, characterized by its themes of hope, love, and optimism, distinguished itself by employing a diverse range of colors across different pieces, sometimes repeating words within a single painting, each rendered in a unique hue.
