About Artist:
Amir Shahrokh Faryousefi was born in 1965 into an art-loving family in Tehran. After completing his high school education and earning a diploma, he pursued his passion for calligraphy by enrolling in courses at the Iran Calligraphers Association, where he studied under renowned calligraphers such as Keykhosro Khoroush, Mohammad Ali Gorjestani, Abbas Rafiei Farahani, and Mohammad Bagher Aghamiri. Faryousefi's dedication to his craft led him to develop a unique approach to calligraphy, emphasizing voluminous works and innovative design.
In 2013, Shahrokh Faryousefi debuted his solo exhibition at the Iranian Artists Forum, marking the beginning of a prolific artistic journey. Since then, his works have been showcased in numerous solo and group exhibitions, earning acclaim for their distinctive fusion of calligraphic elements with sculptural forms. Faryousefi's teaching experience at institutions such as the Kamal-Ol-Molk Conservatory and his roles as Vice President of the Boys Visual Arts Conservatory and Vice President of the Iranian Painting Association underscore his commitment to both artistic creation and education within the Iranian art community.
