About Artist:
Parviz Shapur, an Iranian writer, journalist, designer, and satirist, was born on May 25, 1923 (Khordad 5, 1302) and departed from the world on August 6, 1999 (Mordad 15, 1378) in Tehran. His literary journey commenced in 1954 (1333), with his first short sentences published in Sepid o Siah magazine. Shapur later collaborated with Tofiq magazine in 1958 (1337), where his satirical works were published under the pseudonyms Kamiyar and Mahdokht. Subsequently, he joined the editorial team of Khoshe magazine under the leadership of Ahmad Shamlou, where his poetic, witty, and humorous short writings, often regarded by Shamlou as caricatures, found publication.
